The IBEW Local 1919 Women’s Committee is here to empower, support, and unify women across our union. We work to build confidence, leadership, and opportunity for every sister within our  union .  

We focus on:  

• Encouraging women to step into leadership, activism, and mentorship roles.  

• Promoting awareness around gender equality and fair opportunity in our industry.  

• Creating mentorship and support systems for women at all stages of their careers.  

• Providing education on diversity, inclusion, and respectful workplaces.  

• Taking a stand against harassment, discrimination, and violence in all union environments.  

• Advocating for equal employment and the rights of all women in the IBEW.  

We create programs, events, and social outings that bring the women of  our union together to learn, connect, and build real solidarity.  

Women of all ages are welcome to join.
